"He changes a wilderness into a pool of water and a dry land into springs of water." Psalm 107:35

Why study the Bible?  Besides being the all time best seller around the world and having an unprecedented influence on our culture, the Bible is a whole library of 66 inspired books of divine revelation.  Ordinary lives have been transformed into meaning full chanels of God's grace; broken hearts have been healed; angry ones have been calmed by the love of Christ; and suffering souls have found comfort from the words of their Creator.

What's the secret?  This collection of 66 books we call the Bible is amazingly unified.  With more than 40 writers over a period of at least 1500 years there is no other explanation for such unity than One author.  Who else but an ever living God could have mastered such a feat?  That's why so many people call it the Word of God.  His message from start to finish is summarized in John 20v31 :

"These have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name."  NASB
